The INTERCEPT project has successfully completed its 12-month mission to prepare the foundations for a future Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP). The PCP will focus on developing innovative technologies to remotely and safely stop vehicles, a solution that does not exist on the current market.

The Open Market Consultation (OMC) was a key part of the INTERCEPT project. It enabled a two-way exchange of needs, information, and ideas between public buyers and technology providers in the area of safe remote vehicle stopping technologies. The summary report is now available!

The deadline for submitting responses to the Request for Information (RFI) questionnaires is today, 4 July 2025. We encourage all technology providers and end users to share their insights – your feedback is essential to shaping the upcoming Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) and ensuring it meets real-world needs.
